Experienced PRISM experts teach the PRISM questioning technique and the use of the PRISM instrument.
The PRISM method enables professionals in fields such as medicine, therapy, and education to quickly engage in a professional, peer-level dialogue with the individuals they are assisting, using the PRISM instrument. Targeted questions allow these individuals to place current stressful situations—represented as colored discs—on the white board at a perceived distance from the self, thereby establishing a trusting bond with the professional and identifying potential solutions.
PRISM is much more than just a white board with colored discs. Prof. Stefan Büchi and a team of experienced experts convey the PRISM philosophy, questioning techniques, the setting, and how to use the tool and interpret assessment results through various formats.

Prof. Stefan Büchi developed PRISM. He is involved in numerous studies validating the effectiveness of PRISM in addressing chronic illness, psychological distress, and suicidality, as well as in fostering a culture of dialogue within the healthcare sector. As a titular professor of psychiatry and psychosocial medicine at the University of Zurich, he is active in the professional training of physicians and healthcare professionals. Since 2022, he has been establishing the psychiatry and psychosomatics department at mediX. Previously, he served for ten years as Medical Director of the Hohenegg private clinic.

PRISM T – Therapy Goal
Dr. Sebastian Haas has been dedicated to the clinical and therapeutic application of PRISM for over 15 years. He has integrated PRISM-T (Therapy Goal) into everyday therapeutic practice. He serves as an instructor for PRISM in various therapeutic settings within systemic psychotherapy training programs. Dr. Haas is the Deputy Medical Director of the Hohenegg Private Clinic and is active in various committees focused on the prevention and treatment of stress-related disorders.
Gregor Harbauer

PRISM-S Suicidality
Gregor Harbauer (lic. phil.) played a key role in the validation and publication of the PRISM-S Suicidality tool at IPW Winterthur. He has been active in the fields of suicide prevention and suicidology at the federal, cantonal, and municipal levels for over 20 years. As part of the major SERO project led by GF Schweiz and lups, he managed the widespread implementation of PRISM-S as a suicidality assessment tool.
He is the Lead Psychologist at the Hohenegg Private Clinic.
